Collect Shipment and Backhaul Information


Collect and Rite Aid Controlled Shipments

For all collect (CC) and Rite Aid controlled shipments, vendors must call the Rite Aid Transportation Department for routing instructions. The vendor must call (717)761-2633 (ext. 6554, 6555, 8247, 8507 or 8693) and provide the following information: purchase order number, origin address, Rite Aid destination address, number of cases, weight, number of pallets (or cube), NMFC class, and any other relevant information. Vendors should call within 24 hours of the shipment being ready so there will be no delay in pick up. Failure to call for routing on collect or Rite Aid controlled shipments will result in freight charge backs.

Backhaul Information

Rite Aid company trucks are available for customer pick up in many areas of the country. Backhauling can result in more timely delivery, freight savings, and reduced unloading charges that benefit both vendors and Rite Aid. Backhaul service and allowance terms can be negotiated with Rite Aid Transportation Department.
