Rite Aid B2B EDI Trade Services - Shipment Status and Transportation Carriers

Ship Status Message (214)

Rite aid is committed to the use of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and that includes the area of transportation. Currently, all Less Than Truck Load (LTL) carriers must transmit the EDI Shipment Status Message (Transaction #214), which enables Rite Aid to track inbound shipments.

In order to improve upon the accuracy of the Shipment Status, Rite Aid requests that the LTL carriers utilized by Rite Aid be provided the EDI Shipment Information Transaction #204. This transaction provides the detailed Bill of Lading information pertinent to the shipment.
