The Grid is the world’s largest electronic business community and enables the real-time flow of information between businesses regardless of technical capability, standards preference, spoken language or geographic location.
The following OpenText solutions are being developed and implemented to complement our program:
- OpenText™ Active Intelligence
Are you aspiring to increase your perfect order fill rate? Are you planning to expand your cross-docking, floor-ready merchandise or drop-ship programs with suppliers? One of the keys to success will be reducing the routine errors associated with order fulfillment, shipping and payment processing. Issues like duplicate orders, unauthorized substitutions and invoice discrepancies slow you down and consume endless hours of time. - OpenText™ Active Community
Do you have a master list of all your suppliers? If you sent a communication to all your suppliers, how many of the emails would bounce? For many companies keeping the names and contact details of suppliers up-to-date is a real challenge. OpenText Active Community provides an easy way for your suppliers to keep their contact details, billing information and insurance credentials up-to-date. It works a lot like LinkedIn or Facebook, but for businesses. Each supplier gets their own profile page that they can access to maintain their information. But that is just the beginning. - OpenText™ Active Orders
Do you have good visibility to the status of all inbound orders in your supply chain? How many different ERP, warehouse management and accounts payable systems do you need to access to trace the history of a purchase order? Active Orders is designed to be the “one place to look” for the status of any outstanding order. Active Orders aggregates all the changes, shipping and invoicing information related to an order and then display it to you in one consolidated view. - OpenText™ Trading Grid™ Messaging Service / AS2 Services
Enables you to exchange business documents electronically in a secure, fast and reliable manner. Documents can be sent in both the latest XML standards as well as traditional EDI document standards. Trading Grid® Messaging Service can be then accessed via the Internet using a variety of communications options such as FTP and AS2.
Regardless of budget, expertise and resource limitations, OpenText offers a number of options for small- and medium-sized businesses to conduct e-commerce easily and efficiently:
- OpenText™ Intelligent Web Forms
Enables suppliers and customers to send, receive, turn around, create and manage B2B transactions using a secure web site. With Intelligent Web Forms, there is no software to license or install. Any user with a PC and a web browser can use the web forms with minimal training. - Microsoft Excel Adapter
Allows suppliers to work directly in Excel to create, send and receive electronic purchase orders and invoices. There is no need to tab between different websites. There are no passwords or challenge questions to remember. And there is no rekeying of data.
